Bulk mulches are sold by the cubic yard and can be loaded in your truck or delivered by Barnes to your home or job site. Call Barnes Nursery to order a delivery of mulch at 419-433-5525.

If you choose to pick up your mulch, drive your truck into our Compost site (map to site) and we will load it. We load 7 days per week at Barnes Composting facility off of Camp Road. Pay with a credit card or cash there at the site.

Types of Bulk Mulches

Double Processed Hardwood Mulch - A double ground hardwood mulch that is dark brown used in planting beds to help retain moisture in soil and retard weed growth.
Triple Processed Hardwood Mulch - A triple ground hardwood mulch that is very fine dark brown used in planting beds to help retain moisture in soil and retard weed growth.
Dyed Red or Black Mulch - Triple processed wood that has been colored with pigment for long lasting color in your landscape beds.
Kids Karpet® - Kids Karpet® is a specially manufactured wood fiber developed for use around playground equipment to absorb falls thus reducing injury to children. The material depth depends on the fall height of the equipment it is being placed around. Call Barnes Nursery—Huron—800-421-8722 for specific information on this product and your application. Natural color.
Regular Woodchips - A “green” byproduct of our tree trimming division. Has twigs and leaves mixed in. Not recommended as mulch.
Processed Woodchips - Limited availability. An aged woodchip that has been ground and screened to a more uniform size and at the same time removed undesirables.
