Barnes Nursery grows over 125 species, cultivars and varieties of proven quality shade and ornamental trees, evergreens and shrubs on nine separate farms, all located within 2 miles of the main office.

Every year Barnes plants thousands of trees in their field production nursery.  It takes about three years in the field before plants are sold.  During that time, plants are watered, fertilized, trimmed and sprayed. Many of the plants that grow in our nursery are marketed through Barnes Garden Centers or planted by our crews on our landscape jobs.  Consequently, our production staff takes a very personal interest in growing, caring for and producing superior nursery stock. We are continuously working to improve our tree and plant selection and production practices. Barnes is growing for the future!!
