Barnes recommends amending existing soils that may not be draining adequately, may not be holding sufficient water and/or are lacking organic matter. Soil amendments are sold by the cubic yard and can be loaded into your truck or delivered by Barnes to your home or job site.

Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss (2.2 & 3.8 cu ft bale)

Canadian Sphagnum helps retain water allowing less frequent watering. It aerates heavy clay soils allowing good root development. It aids in retaining nutrients in sandy soils. It helps keep soil replenished in organic matter, and helps to maintain a loose and workable structure.
